The door handle latch is retracted into the lock case using the door handle. The cylinder latch is retracted into the lock case with a key or thumb turn. From the inside, the door handle latch and cylinder latch are retracted into the lock case with the emergency exit handle. The cylinder latch cannot be blocked in the unlocked position. Lock case 722 can be supplied with a microswitch (MG). This provides an indication of locked/unlocked, as well as the use of the emergency exit handle. The faceplate is made of polished zinc-treated steel, providing a resistant and neutral surface that fits into all environments. The latch is made from a single piece of steel that is turned and treated with polished zinc.
